In Windows Live Messenger you can draw or handwrite your messages.

Important:

To send handwritten messages you must have the following software installed:

1. Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 3 or later). If you're not sure your operating system is up-to-date, visit the Microsoft Update website.

2. Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer 1.5.

3. Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer Security Update.

To send a handwritten message:

1. At the bottom of the conversation window, click the handwriting button

2. Use the six formatting buttons that appear in the conversation window to personalize your message.

3. Click Send when you are finished.

Note

In order for your contact to receive your handwritten messages, the contact must have Windows Live Messenger 8.0 or newer installed.
